Becky finally gets the Fiesta running outside the church, and before pulling away, she quickly slips off the kitten heel sandals that have been bothering her all morning. Dropped into the footwell, she places her nylon-covered feet straight onto the pedals — instantly more comfortable, more natural.

She pulls away and heads back the way she came, the camera holding from the passenger seat as she moves through the open countryside. Clear skies, quiet roads... a brief moment where everything feels back under control.

But she knows she’s lost time.

Wanting to make it back quicker, Becky takes a chance — turning off through a small village and onto a narrow back road she doesn’t really know, hoping it’ll cut out a chunk of the journey.

The lane tightens quickly. High hedges, limited space, no room for error.

While driving, she remembers Jane’s advice about the ch*ke. Reaching forward, she pushes it in — and continues on.

Just around the next bend...

A road closed barrier suddenly blocks the lane c*mpletely.

Caught off guard, she has no choice but to bring the car to a stop.
