Shipmates, I came back to my cabin to find a jellyfish. Not a real one — a towel one, folded and propped on my bed by the room attendant, t*ntacles and all. And I had one immediate thought: this thing deserves better than being unfolded and forgotten. It deserves a production.

So I filmed it. Balcony doors open, ocean rolling behind, and that towel jellyfish centre frame while the real soundtrack does the work — waves, wind, ship hum, distant gulls. No music, no talking over it, just the sea doing what the sea does and a surprisingly photogenic piece of hospitality origami floating in the foreground.

It turned into one of the most genuinely relaxing things I've filmed. The kind of clip you put on with headphones, close your eyes, and let the ocean handle the rest. If you've ever wanted to know what a cruise balcony actually sounds like at sea — this is it, with a jellyfish co-star.

And yes, I thanked the attendant. No, I did not tell him he'd become content. Some secrets stay at sea.

If you're into ASMR, ocean soundscapes, non-nude content, or just want something peaceful playing while you do literally anything else — press play and float.

Spoiler alert: The jellyfish did not survive the next morning's turndown service. A moment of silence.
