Samantha always associated Halloween night with coziness, dim light, and her unfailing tradition—watching the cult horror film "Scream." Her cousin was well aware of this ritual and decided it was the perfect chance to pull off an unforgettable, albeit cruel, prank.

Taking advantage of his step-sister's absence, he secretly snuck into her house. Dressed in bl*ck and armed with the famous, sinister Ghostface mask, he lurked in the living room, hiding behind a heavy curtain, awaiting his prey.

Samantha returned soon after. Unsuspecting, she turned off the overhead light, settled down on the soft sofa, and started the movie. The room was filled with the familiar, unsettling sounds of the film. At the most tense moment on screen, when the atmosphere in the room reached its breaking point, the curtain suddenly opened.

A masked figure leaped out of the darkness at the girl with a scream. The room turned into a nightmare. Samantha screamed desperately and tried to run for the exit, but her attacker intercepted her. A furious struggle ensued. Despite her resistance, the "ghost" prevailed: he pinned her down, tightly bound her hands, and sealed her mouth with thick tape, preventing her from calling for help. Samantha froze on the couch, breathing heavily from horror and confusion.

What happened next c*mpletely baffled her. The attacker slowly pulled off his white mask. Beneath it was her cousin's face.

While Samantha remained numb and shocked by this betrayal, her step-brother was in no hurry to untie her. Instead, he approached her and began slowly, with a strange pleasure, running his hands over her rounded stomach, touching her navel. She could only silently watch his incomprehensible actions, paralyzed by fear. Having satisfied his strange curiosity, the step-brother pulled away just as suddenly. Without a word, leaving his step-sister lying helpless on the couch in the empty house, he simply turned and walked away, disappearing into the night.

Alone, Samantha struggled long and painfully against her bonds. Trying to free herself, she fell off the couch and onto the floor, overcoming the p*in in her wrists. After a while, she finally managed to loosen the knots and tear off the tape. Breathing heavily, she sat back down on the couch, exhausted. The TV screen still flickered, but the real horror she had just experienced left a far deeper and more indelible mark on her thoughts.
