Soft colour. Strong contrast. A different kind of statement.

For this presentation, I bring lilac and bl*ck together in a look built around texture, shape and small styling details. My lilac knit cardigan picks up the colour of the ankle boots, while fitted bl*ck trousers and bl*ck satin gloves give the outfit a sharper outline.

The boots set the visual theme. Their lilac uppers contrast with bl*ck laces and substantial bl*ck soles, creating a silhouette that feels bold without needing a bright palette. The lace up fronts, side zips and deep tread give the shoes their distinctive character, with each detail contributing to the overall look.

The cover captures a moment of preparation seated in the chair, I hold the laces of one boot while the second stands nearby. The angle brings its sole and rounded front into view. It is a close look at the footwear within the outfit, with the lilac knit and dark gloves adding different textures around it.

The trailer includes seated and standing barefoot moments, with the boots beside the chair. Changes in posture and framing shift attention between the outfit as a whole and individual details. The dark chair, pale wall and tiled floor keep the setting simple, allowing the lilac colour to remain the visual thread.

What I enjoy about this combination is the balance of softness and structure. The cardigan has a visible knitted texture, the gloves catch the light with a smooth sheen, and the boots introduce a solid, graphic shape. Bl*ck brings those elements together while giving the lighter colour space to stand out.

This chapter has its own identity lilac instead of green, chunky soles instead of slender heels, and bl*ck laces in place of flowing ribbons. The styling is coordinated, but each material brings something different to the frame.
