I had gotten all dressed up in a l*ttle bl*ck dress with patterned lace tights and leather boots because I was supposed to meet someone for a late lunch after running a few errands. Nothing too fancy, but I definitely wasn't planning on spending the afternoon fighting with my old Toyota.

I tried starting my worthless car again, then again, shifting around impatiently in the seat as my nice l*ttle afternoon started turning into another argument with my stubborn old piece of junk car.

After enough failed attempts, I decided I needed a cigarette before this thing drove me insane. Unfortunately, even *that* decided to give me trouble. My lighter was barely working, so I sat there repeatedly flicking it, trying desperately to get enough of a flame to light my cigarette. The car wouldn't start, the lighter wouldn't cooperate, and I was getting more irritated by the second.

Eventually I managed to get my cigarette lit and took a l*ttle break, sitting back and smoking while deciding what to do with the useless machine around me. Then it was straight back to the key. Cigarette in hand, another crank, another failed attempt, and more frustration.

I kept alternating between **cranking the stubborn Toyota and fighting with my cigarette**, trying different attempts and getting myself into increasingly ridiculous positions in the driver's seat while hoping the old girl would finally give in.

And after making me work *far* harder for it than it should have, the engine **finally started**.

So I did eventually get my happy ending and could finally head out in my cute outfit, but apparently not before my Toyota made absolutely sure I earned it first.
