21 mins! Going back through this footage, I've been creating improved versions with a focus on preserving the l*ttle moments that make it feel like you're actually there, not just watching a scene.

This beautiful Southern belle is a lot like many of the women I work with. She starts out a l*ttle nervous, so my first goal is to make her comfortable and let her know she's the one in control of getting the old truck started. Once she's relaxed, a natural challenge develops. She wants to prove she can get it running.

The battery is running down, so every attempt carries a l*ttle more urgency. You can see the shift happen on camera. She starts pumping the g*s pedal more aggressively, trying different rhythms and putting more of herself into every attempt. None of that is scripted, it's simply her responding to the situation.

One of my favorite parts is listening to how her voice changes as time goes on. She begins confidently but as the truck keeps refusing to start, you can hear that confidence soften in her voice. It’s not quite b*by talk but her voice is more like she is speaking to her boyfriend or even step-daddy.

Those subtle changes in tone are the kinds of authentic moments I try to preserve because they're impossible to fake.

Then she kicks off her heels to reveal her long, pretty toes. She really goes after it, pumping the pedal with determination. That wasn't something I asked her to do. Many of them wear uncomfortable heels, trying to look good but they don’t realize how much footwork is involved. Once she's comfortable, she's no longer performing for the camera. She's genuinely trying to get the engine to come alive.

And when it finally fires up, the payoff is c*mpletely real. She lights up, revs the engine with excitement and immediately seeks my reaction. It's a genuine moment of accomplishment and that's exactly the kind of authenticity I wanted this new edit to capture.
