Summer Bella heard the water’s c*ll like a bright, teasing invitation.

The pool shimmered beneath the late-afternoon sun, bl*e and glassy and impossible to resist. Light rippled across the tiled walls like moving silk, turning the whole backyard into something dreamy and alive. It didn’t feel mysterious or quiet tonight. It felt playful. Like it was daring her to jump.

She stood at the edge adjusting her suit, already smiling.

Not neoprene. Not practical.

A sheer, liquid-smooth Leoohex catsuit that clung like a second skin, glossy and featherlight. Dry, it looked sleek and dark, almost modest. But she knew better. Once it got wet, it would turn glassy and nearly translucent, hugging every curve like liquid.

She rolled her shoulders and stretched her arms overhead, feeling the fabric slide and whisper against her body. When she moved, it shimmered. When she twisted at the waist, it caught the sunlight like oil on water. She couldn’t help doing a tiny spin just to watch it gleam.

Behind her, Jake approached with his usual easy confidence, hands on his hips, already half-smiling like he knew exactly what she was about to do.

“You look way too excited for a training dive,” he said.

Summer sh*t him a grin over her shoulder, bright and mischievous. “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.”

“Ready to enter another realm?”

She didn’t answer.

She just laughed and jumped.

Not graceful. Not careful.

A full, reckless splash that sent water exploding in every direction.

The pool swallowed her whole, cool and silky and perfect.

Instantly, the catsuit transformed. The dark fabric deepened to a glossy sheen, turning almost mirror-like as it pressed flush to her skin. Water hugged her from every side, smoothing the material tight against her waist, her hips, the curve of her back. Every movement felt amplified, like the water was tracing her.

She kicked off the bottom and spun just because she could, bubbles racing past her cheeks as laughter escaped into her regulator in tiny silver streams. Weightlessness wrapped around her like a secret.

For a few seconds, she didn’t think about posture or drills or breathing techniques.

She just moved.

Long, lazy strokes. A playful roll. A slow underwater twirl that made her hair float around her face like ink in water.

Jake descended after her, controlled and steady, while she circled him in loose loops like a mischievous fish. The thin suit made every brush of current deliciously noticeable—the glide along her thighs, the ripple over her sides, the way the water seemed to hold her and carry her forward.

When his hand touched her lower back to guide her trim, the warmth of it surprised her even through the slick fabric. It grounded her for a moment, made her aware of just how close they were.

She flashed him an exaggerated thumbs-up and kicked off again, sh*oting across the pool in one smooth, streamlined glide.

Light fractured above them like liquid gold. Bubbles trailed behind her like glitter.

Down here, everything felt lighter—gravity, worries, expectations. Her body felt effortless, like it belonged to the water more than the air. Less like swimming. More like flying.

Time slowed until it barely mattered.

There was only breath. Motion. The soft hum of the pool.

When they finally surfaced, sunlight poured over them in warm sheets.

Water cascaded down her shoulders and chest, the catsuit clinging closer now, nearly transparent in places as it molded to her shape. Droplets slid down her skin and fell back with soft splashes. She pushed wet blonde hair from her eyes and laughed, breathless and glowing.

“That,” she said, floating on her back with her arms spread wide, “is way better than a treadmill.”

Jake chuckled. “You treat every dive like recess.”

“Exactly.”

She drifted lazily, staring up at the sky, feeling the gentle rock of the water beneath her. The world above suddenly felt louder and heavier, but down here everything made sense. The pool wasn’t escape. It was joy. It was play. It was that carefree, delicious freedom of being c*mpletely at home in her own skin.

After a moment, she splashed Jake just to hear him protest and dove under again, laughter trailing behind her in silver bubbles.

And she already knew—

Tomorrow, she’d be right back here, chasing that same bright, weightless feeling all over again.
