It was a particularly chaotic Saturday afternoon at the "Grand Shopping" mall. When a green door finally opened and a lady stepped out, Nicoletta rushed into the stall and locked the latch with a quick motion.

It was a moment of pure relief. The accumulated tension and the desperate run vanished in an instant.

After a few minutes, Nicoletta stepped out of the stall feeling like a new person. She washed her hands calmly, fixed her hair in the mirror, and breathed a long sigh of well-being. The emergency was over. Relaxed and calm, she headed back toward the escalators to return to the store: those sneakers were still waiting for her.
