Scene Setup

A traveling nurse has recently rented a room in a small boarding house close to the hospital where she works. The house is shared by several other workers with different schedules, including a quiet night-shift cleaner from the hospital.

Over the course of a week, the cleaner begins noticing the routine around the house. He sees when people come and go and notices that the nurse often relaxes with a quiet drink after long shifts before heading to bed.

Unknown to the nurse, the man has a strange hobby. In his room he experiments with filming atmospheric videos and small creative projects. Watching the quiet life of the house begins to give him ideas for a documentary style project about night shift workers and their routines.

Story

One weekend most of the residents leave town for a holiday. The nurse has just finished a long double shift and returns home exhausted. The house is quiet and empty except for the cleaner, who is just heading out for work.

They exchange a quick greeting before he leaves.

Later that night he returns unexpectedly because he forgot some equipment for one of his filming projects. When he walks through the house he notices how peaceful everything feels. The nurse is resting in her room after the long shift, with the door slightly open.

The moment gives him an idea about capturing the quiet atmosphere of the late night house. He sets up a small camera in the hallway to film the calm environment and the soft nighttime lighting.

The project becomes less about people and more about the mood of the house itself. The creaking floors, distant traffic, and the stillness during late hours become the focus of the footage.

After finishing his experiment, he quietly packs up his camera equipment and leaves the house exactly as he found it.

The next morning the nurse wakes feeling refreshed after the long shift, unaware of the small filming project that briefly took place in the quiet boarding house during the night.
