Hi Guys!

An entirely unscheduled update here! The Ford hasn't made an appearance on my studio for some time now as it has proved itself reliable. In fairness, the problems it used to cause Me were almost exclusively confined to the driveway as it would fail to start after standing for more than a few days; this has not now manifested itself in a long while. It has only ever broken down by the roadside once and that still stands as one of my best videos in my opinion.

Until that is, last weekend!

I have been asked in the past as to whether I panic when the car breaks down and this is most certainly the case; I think I'd be inhuman not to. Those that have read my bio will know that my ex-partner was into pedal pumping and this is where I picked up a lot of My initial ideas regarding the genre; I have of course learnt so much more since! But the one aspect that is more important to Me over and above all others is realism. I am proud of the fact that the videos herein are real, so to address the initial question I always have some nerves when I take the Renault out as I know there is a high likelihood it will break down....I don't know where or when! But that said, that is normal for the Renault and very often it WILL restart and get Me home. By contrast My Ford is reliable; I know when I am out in it I'm safe.

Which is why the panic in this video is more tangible. If You look for genuine in a girls voice whilst she's trying to get her car to start, you'll find it in this video. Last weekend I went out to a BBQ with friends and left theirs late on in the evening (I actually point out the time on the dashboard in the video and its 00:22). I was wearing a bl*ck and white dress with sheer nude gloss tights. I actually wore ballet flats whilst I was at the BBQ but I was driving in a pair of white sandals with no heel as I find these more comfortable for driving. On the way home the Ford conked out; the engine just stopped and I coasted to the side of the road. Obviously the first thing anyone does under those circumstances is try to restart but the car was having none of it. Initially it cranked "normally" but then a message came up on the dashboard; something to the effect of needing dealership inspection. At this point the engine began cranking differently; it would only turn over for a short period of time no matter how long I held the button. Those with a good memory will recognise that it HAS done this before in one of my early videos (Cranking 7) but the problem has not recurred since.

So, I got my phone out and began recording for You guys. The video is recorded from the first person perspective, basically pretty much what I could see is what You see. For over ten minutes I tried again and again to start the engine with no success and the panic in my voice is very tangible and very real. I carry a pair of bl*ck strappy high heel shoes in the car which my feet fill very nicely; they have hitherto not appeared on any of my videos but I decided to put those on to complete the recording.

It was some 30 minutes later whilst I was on the phone to friends seeking help when the Ford inexplicably restarted and I was able to get home.
