This video follows course guidelines for Med Tech 517A: Forensics. It is intended as supplemental training material to be used with The Essentials of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, 13th Edition (Marshall, J. F., 2015). Date: 02.16.2017 Class: Med Tech 517A: Forensics Instructor: Dr.Jones Subject: *mma Scarlett (Paid Actress) In this informative lab video, we join the lovely Dr. Jones as she shows us how to perform a basic examination before autopsy. Our paid actress *mma Scarlett, will play the role of our cadaver. Our cadaver today has possibly been the victim of a s*xual however the cause of is unknown. Dr. Jones and her assistant begin by uncovering *mma’s body. They see she is wearing a very sexy bl*ck dress with knee high bl*ck stockings, and bl*ck heels. Dr. Jone’s assistant begins taking photos of the y*ung lady. Dr. Jones then joins her assistant to strip *mma’s clothes off to be placed in evidence. They observe a pair of ligature marks on her legs and that her panties have been ripped. Dr. Jones places a toe tag on the body, and the head block is placed behind her head. The assistant then takes photographs of the girl’s cold body as Dr. Jones checks for signs of rigor mortis. Moving on to the examination for bodily fluids, the assistant uses a UV light to examine *mma paying close attention to her p*ssy, *ss, and inner thighs. No fluids are found. Intake fingerprints are taken starting with the woman’s left hand. The assistant holds each hand by their delicate wrists while Dr. Jones presses each thin finger to the ink pad then the paper. Each hangs freely and her tare aims toward the ceiling as the doctors check her pupils and fingernails for DNA The pair then move on to check the girl’s airway and mouth for obstructions or swelling. Afterwards they move on to take swabs of the abrasions on *mma’s leg as well as the inner folds of her v*gina. Her exposed breasts are felt for tissue irregularities and then final photos are taken of her front before flipping her on her side. The examination of *mma on her side while photos are taken of her posterior. Dr. Jones holds *mma up with an arm in between her thighs. Dr. Jones lifts *mma’s leg for a photo of her v*gina and she is flipped over to continue with UV inspection for bodily fluids. The Doctor combs any debris from *mma’s hair into an evidence bag before flipping her back over for a final v*ginal temperature check to consider time of demise. Her feet and her wrists are bound and the sheet is placed back over her. This completes our training and we see our brave and courageously naked actress sit up on the table, happy to be alive.
