Custom:You get in your step-dad's old car to go to class and have to back up since something is in your way, but when you try to put it in reverse to back up (sh*ot this from outside the car on driver's side), it won't go into gear and the gears keep grinding as you try. You grip the gearstick tightly with both hands and struggle to get it into reverse for a few minutes until it finally goes in with gears grinding. You back out of your spot but when you try to put it in 1st, the same thing happens and you struggle with both hands as before. You manage to get it into 1st and are on your way, but it won't shift into 2nd or 3rd without a big struggle and the gears keep grinding loudly. You come to an intersection (you can pretend you're at an intersection) and the car in the middle. You get it started but when you try to put it in reverse to get out of the intersection, it's stuck and won't move and the gears keep grinding. You frantically struggle with both hands, desperately trying to shift into reverse so you won't be blocking traffic, all the while the gears keep grinding as you try to shift (try to sh*ot this from passenger seat and from outside car on driver's side). You fight the gears for several minutes, straining and with a panic'd look. Finally it goes in to reverse and your able to get out of the intersection and go on your way, continuing to struggle and grind 2nd and 3rd gear.You come to a down hill part of the road and apply the brakes, but they over heat and don't stop the car so you try to downshift to a lower gear, but it won't go in and keeps grinding. You look desperate and use both hands and all your strength as you struggle to shift into a lower gear, all the while gears are grinding loudly. You finally gets in in a lower gear, not without a lot of effort and grinding, and slow the car down.You finally get to school but when you try to back up into the parking spot, reverse gears is jammed again, gears keep grinding, and it won't go in. You struggle again for several tries, embarrassed and desperate trying to get it into reverse. Finally it goes in and you park for class.
