CC lets herself into your apartment with help from your roommate. You missed your court date on a public indecency charge and now there is a warrant for your arrest. You are still in bed in your underwear, and she does not care. Get up, hands on the wall. You get to leave the way you came in.

She locks silver hinged handcuffs on your wrists behind your back, then locks shackles around your ankles so you cannot run again. Your Miranda rights are read right there in your bedroom. She asks why you skipped court and reminds you that a park is a public place. You get a quick pat down, though there is not much to search.

At the station she faces you into the wall and switches your handcuffs to the front, one hand on your head at a time. Seated in the hinged handcuffs, you give her your name, your address, and a full set of fingerprints while she comments on how cooperative you have suddenly become. You get one phone c*ll, two minutes, and the person you choose to c*ll is the same roommate who opened the door for her. CC hangs up and lets you know exactly how she feels about that.

She has work to do, so she moves you to the bench and locks you down. When you get loud she tells you to quiet down, then adds another note to your file so the cell staff go extra hard on you. She has been nice so far. She can start being mean.

Once you are entered into the system she unlocks your handcuffs for mugshots. The shackles stay on. Forward, right, left, forward again, all in your underwear. Then she announces your strip search. Hands on your head while the handcuffs come off, then the shackles. These are your last few minutes without steel on you.

Everything goes in the bucket. You wanted to be naked in public, so now you are naked for your strip search while CC decides whether you even deserve a uniform. Shake out your hair, show behind both ears, stick out your tongue, lift your lips, lift and separate, turn around, show the bottoms of your feet and wiggle your toes, then squat and cough. The first cough is not good enough, so you do it again.

The silver hinged handcuffs go back on behind your back, then forehead and nose against the wall while she fetches your jumpsuit. The handcuffs come off just long enough for you to dress in front of her. Then down on your knees, ankles crossed, forehead to the wall. Hinged handcuffs locked behind your back, shackles locked back on, and because you are high security now, thumb cuffs too. Fully restrained on your knees in your jumpsuit, she asks how it feels.

Then she walks you to your cell. The handcuffs, shackles and thumb cuffs are all staying on. She runs this station. She controls what you wear, whether you eat, whether you get a cot. You already missed dinner, it is a holiday weekend, and the judge is off for days. Good night.

The End.
