Opening Scene Ms Rhoda is a teacher who has noticed that one of her students has become unusually interested in textiles and fashion design. After hearing from another teacher, Ms Feezah, that the student has a remarkable eye for fabrics, she becomes curious. She creates a five-day after-school project to better understand the student's interests and talents.

Day 1 - Monday The student arrives for the after-school project. Ms Rhoda is dressed in her usual professional outfit and asks questions about hobbies, interests, and future career goals. She notices the student is attentive and hardworking but doesn't seem particularly interested in any specific fashion examples she shows. Before leaving, she makes a note to continue her observations.

Day 2 - Tuesday The student returns. Ms Rhoda presents several design samples, including c*tton, denim, wool, and polyester fabrics. The student studies them carefully but doesn't show much enthusiasm toward any of them. Ms Rhoda becomes intrigued. She asks if there is a particular style or material that stands out, but the student simply shrugs and says he isn't sure.

Day 3 - Wednesday Ms Rhoda arrives wearing a satin blouse. Throughout the session she notices the student repeatedly glancing at the fabric. When discussing clothing design and texture, the student suddenly becomes far more engaged than before. For the first time all week, he actively participates in the discussion. Ms Rhoda begins to suspect she has discovered the answer.

Day 4 - Thursday Determined to test her theory, Ms Rhoda brings several fabric samples to class. The student examines c*tton, linen, velvet, silk, and satin. When he reaches the satin sample, his face immediately lights up. Ms Rhoda smiles. The mystery is solved. The student explains that he has always been fascinated by the smooth texture, shine, and appearance of satin fabrics. Later that day, Ms Rhoda catches him taking reference photos of different fabric samples for a personal design project. Rather than getting angry, she reminds him about asking permission first and encourages him to continue exploring textile design in a respectful way.

Day 5 - Friday For the final day, Ms Rhoda arrives with an entire collection of satin garments, scarves, fabric swatches, and design examples. The classroom becomes an informal workshop. The student excitedly discusses colors, patterns, fabric weights, and garment construction. Ms Rhoda finally understands why Ms Feezah spoke so highly of him. It was never about trouble or detention. It was about a student with a genuine passion for fabric design and an unusual appreciation for satin. The week concludes with Ms Rhoda encouraging him to pursue fashion design, textile studies, or costume creation in the future. As the student leaves, Ms Rhoda smiles. Mystery solved.
