Klamm works as a quality control officer for a major financial corporation. During a routine investigation, he uncovers evidence suggesting that a powerful executive has been embezzling company funds. Concerned for his safety, he reports his findings directly to the CEO, who promises to send trusted specialists to collect the evidence and continue the investigation.

When two men, Tony and Raimondo, arrive at his office claiming to be financial fraud investigators sent by the CEO, Klamm is relieved. Although he has never met them before, they appear professional and convincing, and he willingly lets them inside.

It doesn't take long for him to discover the truth.

Tony and Raimondo are not investigators at all—they are criminals sent to eliminate every trace of the evidence Klamm has gathered. Before he can react, they overpower him and secure him with ropes and cleave gags in a detailed on-screen tying sequence. Leaving him restrained, they begin searching his office and computer for the incriminating files.

Determined not to give up, Klamm struggles his way across the room and eventually discovers a pair of scissors on a nearby shelf. Using them, he manages to cut through the ropes binding him and briefly regains hope.

But his victory is short-lived.

Tony and Raimondo return before he can escape. Realizing that Klamm is resourceful, they decide not to take any chances. This time they secure him to a chair far more thoroughly, replacing the cleave gag with a wrap-around tape gag. The tighter restraints leave him virtually immobile, and all he can do is watch helplessly as the two men continue their work.

A short time later, they return with the news Klamm feared most. They have located every file and document he collected and permanently erased the evidence from his computer.

As a final act of humiliation for interfering in matters they believe should have remained hidden, Tony and Raimondo leave Klamm in an even more compromising predicament in the closing scene. Left helpless and unable to free himself, he can do nothing but wait and hope that someone discovers him before it is too late.
