I turn up to my friend’s pool in the tiniest l*ttle strawberry print bikini, looking cute and confident... but there’s one tiny problem. I can’t swim. The water looks so deep, so inviting, and I can feel that nervous flutter in my tummy as I stand on the edge, toes curling, heart racing.

Lucky for me, I’m handed the most adorable lifejacket. It’s bright, snug, and promises to keep me c*mpletely under control. I slip it on slowly, teasing you as I pull it over my shoulders. I take my time zipping it up, inch by inch, feeling it tighten around me. Then I fasten the strap firmly at my waist... and finally secure the crotch straps, pulling them nice and tight so the fit is deliciously secure. I give a l*ttle tug to show you just how locked in I am.

Suddenly I feel contained, supported... almost restrained. The jacket hugs my curves, lifting and holding me in place. I look so innocent, yet so temptingly helpless. Safe. Buoyant. C*mpletely at the mercy of the water.

With a daring l*ttle grin, I jump straight in. Splash. The cool water wraps around me instantly, but I don’t sink. I float. Effortlessly. The lifejacket keeps me up, keeps me exposed, keeps me perfectly positioned as I drift on the surface. I run my hands over the jacket, adjusting the straps again, enjoying how firmly it holds me while I bob and sway.

There’s something alluring about surrendering like this — floating helplessly, secured tightly, showing off in my tiny bikini while the jacket does all the work. I relax into it, stretching out, letting the water move me however it wants. I could stay like this all day... wrapped up, buoyant, and beautifully under control.
