At the end of a long working day, Jane kindly offers you — the viewer — a lift home from the office.

She looks effortlessly smart as she walks across the car park ahead of you, dressed in classic office attire that suits her perfectly: a crisp white blouse, a fitted bl*ck skirt, and glossy bl*ck patent high heels that reveal just a hint of toe cleavage with every step. Her handbag rests on her shoulder, and waiting for you both is her pride and joy — a charming yet temperamental 1984 VW Polo, full of old-school character.

There’s a brief exchange of easy office small talk as you reach the car. Nothing unusual. Nothing to suggest what’s about to happen.

You take your seat on the passenger side.

From this point onwards, the clip is filmed entirely from passenger POV, placing you directly beside Jane for everything that follows.

She settles into the driver’s seat, smooths her skirt, slips her high-heeled right foot into position, and instinctively reaches for the controls. With a quiet sigh, she pulls the ch*ke out slightly, gives the pedal a few practiced priming pumps, and turns the key in the ignition.

The engine cranks strongly, but refuses to start.

Jane pauses, frowns, then tries again. The Polo turns over eagerly, gives a brief splutter — almost catching — before falling silent again. She lets out a small, embarrassed laugh.

“I’m so sorry about this... it’s been really temperamental this week.”

From your seat, you have a perfect view. Her left hand works the ch*ke while her right foot, still in those glossy heels, moves on the pedal. The engine cranks again, sounding as though it desperately wants to start. It splutters, teases, even briefly comes to life, only to fade away once more.

With you sitting right beside her, watching everything, Jane’s composure begins to slip. She exhales slowly, glances down at the controls, and tries again. The Polo resists, stubborn and playful all at once.

Almost without realising it, she starts to plead.

“Come on b*by... please start for me.”

The words are soft, instinctive, and genuine. The car continues to toy with her, coughing and spluttering just enough to raise her hopes before taking them away again. Her apologies become more frequent, her embarrassment more visible, but she keeps trying.

After several tense moments of cranking, teasing, and near-starts, the Polo finally relents. The engine stumbles into life beneath her high-heeled foot, and Jane releases a long, relieved breath.

You set off.

For a while, everything feels calm. You watch her drive, her heels working the pedals smoothly now that the engine is behaving. The earlier tension fades into relaxed conversation and the gentle rhythm of the road.

Then she mentions she needs to stop at a local shop to pick up a couple of items.

It’s only meant to be a quick stop.

She parks up, switches off the engine, and heads inside, leaving you waiting in the passenger seat. When she returns, she slips back behind the wheel, closes the door, and instinctively reaches for the ch*ke once again.

Without thinking, she pulls it out slightly and gives the pedal four or five quick priming pumps before turning the key.

The engine cranks, but doesn’t start.

Jane sighs, already mortified. She tries again. Nothing. The ch*ke comes out a l*ttle further. Still nothing. On the next attempt, the engine finally fires — just long enough for her to smile in relief — before faltering and cutting out almost immediately.

Her embarrassment deepens.

“My husband always moans at me for pumping it...”

As the engine turns over again and again, a stranger walks past the car, glancing over at the obvious struggle. Jane hides her face for a moment, c*mpletely flustered, before collecting herself. She adjusts the ch*ke again, steadies her breathing, and cranks once more.

The Polo splutters, teases, then finally comes back to life.

This time, she doesn’t take any chances.

She keeps the engine running and drives you the rest of the way home, the tension slowly easing as the car finally behaves itself. When you arrive, she pulls up, smiles warmly, and wishes you a good night as you step out.

But with everything you’ve just witnessed — the embarrassment, the apologies, the pleading, the teasing near-starts, and the way her heels worked the pedals throughout — it’s a lift home you won’t be forgetting any time soon.

This is a beautifully paced, authentic scenario, sh*t entirely from the passenger’s perspective, with Jane’s classic office outfit and high heels on full display. The 1984 VW Polo has real personality, delivering two distinct no-start sequences that build slow, believable s*xual tension through genuine vulnerability and frustration.

Sometimes, the most memorable journeys are the ones that almost don’t start at all.
