ENGLISH SPEAKING

I keep the leash taut, while Mistress Claire advances at my side with a confident yet cruel step. Our enslaved dog, mummified and bent on all fours, shuffles clumsily across the ground. I order him to lower his head with a sharp tug. "Use your nose, beast." He must seek us out like a trained dog, sn*ffing the air and tracking our scent. Claire smiles amusedly and moves slightly to the side, confusing him. He moves tentatively, following our invisible trail, crawling like an thirsty for its mistress. When he takes a wrong turn, we don't wait: my foot lands precisely on his hand. Every mistake becomes our amusement, every hesitation a new punishment. The game continues. We barely move, letting him chase us, breathless, guided only by our scent. He advances like a miserable shadow, and every time he thinks he's reached us, he finds only the weight of our soles. Claire and I look at each other, complicit. He remains on the ground, sn*ffing, begging, humiliated. He lives only for us, our scent, our whim, the cruel pleasure with which we crush him to the ground.

DIALOGHI IN INGLESE
