But experiments rarely go as planned. The device begins to malfunction, cycling me through bodies and faces in chaotic succession — baddie, soft, slender, my natural self. During this glitch, a bush unexpectedly appears and disappears as my body morphs uncontrollably. I fight the remote, hands scrambling over my reshaped body, before the final form locks in... and I collapse, panting, my voice breaking the silence: “Experiment... failed. For now.”
