The Magician: (finishes tying) Perfect! Now for the finishing touch... ( grabs a blindfold) So you won’t even know where to start if you did have a chance.

(He applies the blindfold)

Mia: I feel like I’m part of some elaborate prank.

The Magician: Well, they do say magic is all about illusion, don’t they? (mockingly) This is just research. Don’t worry—I’m sure it’ll all come undone. Eventually.

Mia: ( wiggling, trying to test the knots with no luck) Uh-huh, right. Purely “research.” You’re definitely enjoying this way too much!

The Magician: ( grins) Guilty! But hey, if we’re going to make an impression, we have to be sure it’s rock-solid. This one’s going to leave them speechless. (Grabs the harness ballgag) . Just like you.

Mia: Alright, fine—you’re a devious genius. Now, how about untying me before you get any more ideas?

The Magician: Oh, one last touch... just in case you try to outsmart me with those clever teeth of yours.

Mia: ( hears the sound of moving straps) Wait, what? You’re not actually going to—

The Magician: (fastens the ballgag harness) Just for authenticity, I promise! Can’t have you working your way free when we’re going for “inescapable,” right?
