"You really thought you could escape me?" she continued, her tone playful but tinged with the unmistakable scent of superiority. "I don’t think you understand how much stronger I am than you."

Frank, humiliated and exhausted, looked up at Lana in disbelief. His body ached from the sheer power she had used, and he knew he was c*mpletely powerless against her.
