Androids Candle Boxxx and Star Nine are regenerating their solar panels by the pool. When Candle says she wants to learn humour like her role model Data, Star rolls her eyes at her robot girlfriend. Candle goes on about her advanced programming and it should be easy! Accessing her 0's and 1's, Candle tells bad jokes in the attempt to be more human. Star doesn't understand why she wants to assimilate to lesser humans. After a very lame joke, she pushes Candle in the pool.

Candle starts malfunctioning as a secret joke, hoping to get a reaction out of Star. They're both waterproof, so Star becomes concerned that something is seriously wrong.
