Sarah sits in the back seat of an Uber, glancing at her watch anxiously as she’s driven to an important event.

I can't believe I’m running so late for this event. I c*mpletely lost track of time. Trust me to be late to an event I’m hosting.

The Uber car comes to a stop in front of a convenience store. The engine is turned off, and the Uber driver gets out of the car and walks into the shop.

Sarah can't believe it.

Well that’s rude!! What does he think he’s doing? I don't have time for this.

Minutes tick by, and the driver still hasn't returned. Sarah is getting increasingly frustrated:

This is ridiculous. Who does he think he is!!

Filled with anger, Sarah notices the keys left in the ignition.

Right! If he’s not going to drive me, I’ll drive myself!!

With a determined look, Sarah decides to take matters into her own hands. She gets out of the Uber and slides into the driver's seat. Right – How do I drive this thing, can’t be that hard.

Sarah holds the key and turns it, feeling a rush of adrenaline as the engine roars to life.

Just two pedals – Guessing one is stop and the other is go.

Sarah positions her stilettos on each pedal pushing them down with uncertainly. Which one is the g*s (As she floors the accelerator) OH Rev Rev – Must be this one. Rev Rev Rev Rev

Wonder what these mean, R N D

Sarah shifts the gear lever into "R" and presses the accelerator pedal. The car lurches backwards, and she quickly slams her other foot on the brake, screeching to a halt.

“So not that one then” she says “Okay, let’s try again”.

She takes a deep breath and composes herself, looking at the rear view mirror. She sees the Uber driver running towards the car, shouting and waving his hands.

Oh My G*d, he's back!!

Sarah revs the engine slightly, feeling the power beneath her foot. With determination, she puts the gear stick into D position and floors the accelerator and speeds off leaving the Uber driver standing on the pavement in disbelief.

That was close – what an arsehole leaving me in his car.

The car accelerates more, and Sarah's confidence grows. She struggles to steer and keep her foot steady in her high heels, but her determination keeps her focused.

Omg I can’t believe I just stole that man’s car. I’m actually driving an Uber and wearing high heels.
