The burglar pops out again, mocking Alba for her useless strugglings. He goes to the living room, where Tony is studying in front of the wall, while wearing headphones, hence unable to spot the burglar behind him that's rummaging the apartment.
Alba doesn't give up! Determined to immobilize Alba once and for all, Tony puts her into a strict hogtie on the bed, then re-ties her big toes for good measure, and finally goes back to resume studying.
The burglar pops out of his hideout and shows Alba his loot, money and other stuff, mocking her for her futile attempts to stop him, then goes away, leaving poor Alba to struggle and moan desperately, unheard by anyone.
In the final scene, Tony enters the bedroom, where Alba is still tightly hogtied and gagged. He apologizes for his rude manners, but again stresses how the exam he's studying for is crucial for his career, so he goes in the living room, leaving poor Alba to struggle tied up and gagged all night.
