Hi Guys!

OK, heres the next instalment in my daily woes series and possibly the last for reasons that will become clear! Heres what happened.....

The video starts with me heading out on a Friday night wearing a pair of barely bl*ck tights, new bl*ck sandals with white polka dots (I Love these!!) and a short bl*ck skirt underneath a bl*e coat. As you'll know, my Ford will very often start and then stall and this was no exception! However when I tried to restart the engine I KNEW it wasn't going to go; the battery was clearly drained from all the preceding effort. It gave me two goes and then went flat! I had to get my friend to pick me up and we agreed to jump start my car the following day.

So, come Saturday my ever-faithful friend came round and we connected the jump leads. With the exception of my coat I wore the same clothing and so began a cranking session of epic length, for me at least! Initially we connected the jump leads but did not start my friends car; this resulted in nothing but a few clicks from my starter. My friend then started her car and my Ford began to crank, initially starting before then stalling again as it so often does. (From recollection it fired 3 or 4 times across the 15 minutes but always stalled again). As time wore on the starter became more and more laboured, my mood more and more panicked as it did so. It usually starts after a few minutes so after 10 had elapsed I knew something had gone more seriously wrong. But, I kept trying until the inevitable happened and my starter gave up!! :'-(

At this point I'm going to hand over to my associate at NylonCranking who has seen this video and (very kindly!) writes as follows:

"I have been an avid fan of the pedal pumping genre pretty much since the internet came into existence and I found to my delight that there was a community out there for people with the same kink as me. And there have been some memorable videos published along the way.

But this for me is one of the best I've ever seen, a magnum opus from Tina. All credit to her for managing to produce something SO GOOD without showing anything more than her legs and feet!

Where to start? OK, lets go with those feet! The barely bl*ck tights she wears herein are just superb; a reinforced toe but not so dark as not to be able to see her red painted toenails. When stretched around her upper leg you can see how sheer they are. They are those kind of tights that don't have much of a sheen to them; they have a lot more give in the material if you follow me? The result is a nylon net forms across her toes, bridging the gap between them. The same phenomenon occurs under the arch of her foot which becomes visible when she removes her right shoe (thats a moment!). Oh, its great; its what I live for, l*ttle things like that! And the shoes look great on her feet!

Then theres the cranking! I love slow cranking; her Ford very often turns over too quickly for me. But not here whilst on the jump battery. Every time the engine turns over it sounds like its struggling and it gets worse and worse (better!) as the video progresses. I've also noticed her starter sometimes gives a l*ttle "kick-back" at the end of a crank, a l*ttle noise that just reinforces the fact that yet another attempt at starting her engine has failed and its well in evidence here. About half way through she also starts removing her left foot from the clutch; her Ford requires the clutch to be depressed in order to start cranking but she tells me that she realised she was obstructing a pedal POV camera with her left foot. What I noticed here is that as she lets her left foot off, the cranking changes and a "dud....dud....dud....dud" noise becomes evident. You'll see what I mean! And then, theres an absolutely mind bl*wing moment about 15 seconds from the end where her starter gives up! Oh my days, that noise!!

But you might have to have a few attempts to get that far, because her dialogue is SOMETHING ELSE!! Tina has for some time now been something of a masterclass at talking to her car whilst cranking it, but this is another level. "Come on b*by, I know you're struggling". That beautiful voice becomes more fraught as the video progresses; you gradually realise its NOT going to start and evidently so does Tina.

The net result is so exciting its almost electric. She gave me a copy of this (and the pedal cam POV version) and I can sit listening to it whilst doing chores, honestly! Its mind bl*wing. PP is very much a matter of taste and preference but as I say, for me this is one of the best I've ever seen"

I can't really say any more than that Guys, except enjoy it! It (and the pedal cam POV) may be the last in the Ford because the reason why it absolutely wouldn't start is the fuel pump has now c*mpletely given up and SO has the starter. I now have a big repair bill and of course it SHOULD come back from the garage fixed!

But....the Skoda is coming! Watch this space
