With life continuing to be a battle and there not being a great deal of things for us to smile about, it’s a real joy to be able to escape into the wonderful world of Monica’s Wrestling Centre.

And in particular, we were able to enjoy the thrills, spills and crazy shenanigans that her now infamous and hugely anticipated wrestling parties bring us all!

A dozen beautiful, strong and talented women, drinks and food flowing and music pumping is the perfect for any session wrestling fan and the lucky boys who were able to make the September bash certainly savoured every last second.

As usual, The Referee introduced them all one by one and their names alone will tell you that this was a truly exciting and special occasion: Alora Lux, Cheetah, Havocc, London, Luna, Penny Banks, Rosie, Yui, Miss Patricia, Miss Tamsin, Madame Vanquish and Kassidy.

We had relatively new wrestlers alongside experienced girls, we had power, we had pace, we had skill in abundance and above all we have women who wanted to have fun and make it a memorable experience for all the lucky lads.

After he had gone through some important housekeeping measures for those in attendance, The Referee got the girls to take part in a rigorous warm up routine to make sure they were loose and limbered up for the hours ahead.

As soon as they were full prepped and ready to rock, they were unleashed on the gaggle of men, who were waiting patiently and kicking their lips in anticipation.

Of course, they weren’t really prepared for the hurricane that h*t them and found themselves flat on their back and pinned down!

There were great mixed wrestling battles going on in every last square inch of space the boys and girls could find in the Ring of P*in and in the Mats of Doom.

Some were tough fights while it was also a treat to see some of the regulars getting their butts kicked by the insatiable ladies (yes, we’re talking about you Chicken Boy!).

But it would not be a MWC Party if there were a few fun and unique games for willing players to participate in.

We had the classic ‘Scissor Circle’ where some of the ladies demonstrated just how punishing their scissor holds can be with their unfortunate victims being left with no choice but to tap!

Then there was ‘Musical Chairs’ which you might scratch your head and wonder what might have to do with wrestling. When we tell you the girls bums have to go on faces rather than actual chairs, you’ll get it!

The increasingly popular ‘Cone challenge’ tested the speed, agility and of course wrestling ability of contestants while the new ‘Wrestling Blast’ game was a massive h*t!

It involved the girls putting on a wrestling hold for 10 seconds before moving to another victim and applying a different move - no one was allowed to repeat any holds and this showcased how talented and resourceful each of the fighters are!

The vibe and mood was one of fun and happiness and you could tell everyone was up for having the very best time they could with like-minded folk interested only in the same thing.

If you couldn’t make it, you missed out big time but there is salvation with these eight clips which captured the very best of the brilliant and, at times, hilarious action from the night!
