Sitting on the couch, Kayla turns on her console and slips into a pair of her new virtual reality glasses. She turns them on and the game boots up.

Kayla is looking down at her body, now clad in a tight bl*ck catsuit. "This feels so real." She is now in a fighting style game and she fights through some enemies in hand to hand combat until she's quickly overwhelmed and overpowered. She falls onto her back.

When she comes to her body is bound to a chair. She's surprised to a see a timer in front of her. Countdown to Detonation . She thrashes and fights against her bonds, trying to beat the clock. She panics as the timer gets to 5...4...3...she braces for the impact.

She is on the couch, arms pinned behind her as if held by rope as she struggles against her imaginary capture. She's acting out everything happening in the game as if it's real. When the countdown reaches O she screams out "No!" She spends a moment to catch her breath as she remembers it isn't real, it's just a game. She takes off the glasses and studies them for a moment. "Wow, that felt really realistic. Let's try that again."

Back inside the game again she is fighting invisible foes. She manages to get a l*ttle further this time before being overpowered once more. She falls face first to the floor, arms at her side. This time the bad guys have put her in a different trap. She's standing, her arms held up over her head. She is trapped in a sewer that is filling with water. She struggles fiercely but the water raises and fully submerges her. She gasps for air but she is underwater, she goes still.

She is on the couch, glasses on and experiencing this Game Over like it's real. Her hands are held over her head as if they're really tied and she is gasping for air as her character is submerged. She goes still.
After a moment she comes to her senses and whips off the VR glasses. She's visibly shaken but figures one more try can't hurt, so she puts the glasses back on.

She's back in the game with renewed confidence. She fights her way further than ever, throwing punches but is beatdown ruthlessly. She ends up out on the floor, face down *ss up. She comes to in another trap. She is tied down flat on her back, a hydraulic press of spikes slowly lowering down onto her bound body. She reacts in terror and tries to free herself. "I'm going to be crushed!" The closer the spikes get the stronger she reacts, her breath coming in faster as she panics. The spikes are inches from her skin....Game Over. The spikes reach her body and she is crushed.

Back in the real world, Kayla is on her back, arms to her sides as if tied up. She struggles with the VR glasses on, she struggles as her character gets flattened. She contorts as she begins to feel what the character feels. "What the f*ck. I can feel everything! Oh g*d, no!" After some writhing she goes still. This time it is Game Over for real.
