I’ve been working so hard lately, getting up eating breakfast, driving the one-hour journey to work from my home, working for 8 hours, then the one-hour drive back home, cooking my evening meal, eating, washing up, ironing my clothes for the next working day then napping and repeat.

Do not get me wrong I love my job, but I am looking forward to the next few days off I have scheduled. It feels like I have not seen my friends and family for ages.

I have recently treated myself to a new digital camera, I have also been invited to have lunch with one of my old college friends I have not seen for a while, so I have decided to two birds with one st*ne.

She lives out in the countryside, so I am going to take a quick detour and take some nice photos of the beautiful scenery and countryside near her home, test out my camera, enjoy some nice fresh air before I meet her for lunch and enjoy a nice chat and catch up, just what the doctor ordered after a manic few weeks at work.

I want to look nice, so I am wearing my new dress and while it is not yet winter, you can feel the weather is changing so I am going with my bl*ck leather knee-length boots.

I think they will go well with my dress, and be ideal for either a smart or casual restaurant, wherever by a friend as booked for us to have lunch that afternoon.

Having pulled off the road and ventured into the wilderness, taking in the nice fresh air and getting some stunning shots with my camera, its time to head off and meet my friend, and I will admit I am beginning to get a l*ttle hungry.

Is it better to turn around and head back the way I came or venture on to find a route back to some solid tarmac?

While its nice I see no h*rm in venturing on, after all, what is the worst that can happen?.....
