Scientist, Lana Grayson, is coming home from a late night at the lab. She checks her bandage, she sees the wound is not healing as planned. She is supposed to report all injuries to personnel, but she knew she was not supposed to get that close to the wolf, and she didn't want to risk her job.

Anna cleans the deep scratches and winces. She eases into the tub and looks up at the ceiling. She tries to relax, to clear her mind, she closes her eyes, she drifts into a rest. Anna dreams of a beautiful wolf/woman hybrid who is transforming into a beast, much like the poor rabid souls in cramped cages inside her lab. In her dream, a wold lunges at her, she gasps!

She wakes up. She doesn't realize her eyes transform. Her wound throbs, it pumps the infection through her body. She gets out of the steamy tub and begins to towel off her hair. She catches a glimpse of something strange, she looks closer at the steamy mirror, wipes the condensation off, her eye color are the same as the wolves! She checks her teeth, her bottom and upper canines grow into fangs. She notices veins appear on her chest, she looks down, hair is growing from her chest.

She doubles over and braces herself against the sink. She breathes, in and out, her shoulder blades begin to grow, hair follows the beads of her spine. Her feet grow long, she stretches them on her tip toes, her toe grow into claws. She hears a ringing in her ears, the sound is piercing. She covers her ears and tries to muffle the sound, her fingernails grow into claws. Her nose morphs into a wolf's nose, her muzzle grows. Her legs shake, her knees buckle, it begins to be more comfortable for her to stand on all fours.

More hair grows on her body. She looks at her body, satisfied at her transformation. She looks at the window and sees the moonlight, the moonlight covers her, and she remembers the wolves at the lab. She will go to the lab, set them free. She'll be there soon, she communicates to them by howling at the moon.
